About Andhra Pradesh AEE Recruitment 2026

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) recruits Assistant Executive Engineers (AEE) for the engineering departments of the state, including Water Resources, Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Public Health & Municipal Engineering, Roads & Buildings and Tribal Welfare. Posts are notified branch-wise for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical (EEE) and Electronics & Communication (ECE) engineering graduates, and vacancies are distributed zone-wise as per the state zonal system.

Details You Need to Enter

The calculator uses the following details to place you in the right competition pool while estimating your rank:

  • Answer Key URL: The response sheet link from your official candidate login
  • Branch: EEE, Civil, Mechanical or ECE
  • Age: Your age in completed years
  • Zone: Zone 1 to Zone 6
  • Status: Local or Non-Local for the zone you applied to
  • Category: General (OC), EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC-1, SC-2, SC-3, ST or PWD
  • Gender: Male or Female

Local, Non-Local and Zonal Reservation

Recruitment to zonal posts in Andhra Pradesh reserves the major share of vacancies for local candidates of the concerned zone, while the remaining share is open to both local and non-local candidates. Because a non-local candidate competes in a much smaller pool, your local status changes your effective rank — which is why the calculator asks for it separately from your zone.

Category and Women’s Reservation

Andhra Pradesh follows a category structure of OC, EWS, BC-A to BC-E, SC (with sub-classification), ST and PWD. In addition, women candidates get a 33.33% horizontal reservation applied within each category. The calculator therefore reports your rank both overall and within your own category and gender pool.
